Thank you for visiting my fundraising
I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.
Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.
Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Calling all the girls in the house
Tuesday 19th AugEvery day, I come across at least one story of a woman going through a difficult time in her relationship or marriage.
Too often, it’s about physical, psychological, or financial abuse.
The growing number of women crying out for help is what pushes me to think about doing something.
I’m part of a Facebook community of Brazilian women living in Ireland, and a group of women living in Louth, and it breaks my heart to see how many women are enduring unbearable situations with their partners or husbands.
Right now, there’s a woman who once dreamed of building a happy family, who studied and worked hard, but finds herself trapped. Many of them have children, and they can’t leave their homes because they can’t afford it. They feel they can’t call the Garda, because even if the abuser is taken away, he will soon be back, and more dangerous than before.
These women are desperately turning to Women’s Aid, searching for a way out, a lifeline.
We cannot ignore this.
Women, let’s come together. Let’s help each other.
