The American Women’s Club of Dublin (AWCD) is proud to be part of FAWCO (Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas), an international network founded in 1931 that brings together women worldwide to build connections, share cultures, and advocate for human rights. FAWCO has a long history of focusing on issues that directly impact women and girls—education, the environment, health, and human rights—with a mission to improve lives globally and locally.

This September, AWCD FAWCO is focusing on the urgent issue of domestic violence by taking part in the Walk 100 miles Challenge in support of Women’s Aid. Across Ireland, one in three women experience abuse from someone they once trusted. Every five minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information, safety, and support. Their work saves lives, but they cannot do it alone.

Your contribution will make a real difference—whether it’s a little or a lot—because every donation helps Women’s Aid continue to provide life-saving services to women and children across Ireland.
