I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.
Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.
Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Every Step Matters
Tuesday 19th AugThis September, I’m taking on a challenge that’s close to my heart. I’ll be walking 100 miles to stand with women who are experiencing domestic violence, and to help raise funds for the vital services that give them safety, support, and hope.
Every mile represents the steps that survivors have to take to rebuild their lives. Some of those steps are hard, some are painful, but every single step matters.
That’s why I want to support Women’s Aid. They’re there day and night, 24/7, answering calls, offering comfort, and guiding women through some of the toughest times imaginable. They help women take those first steps towards safety, independence, and healing.
The money raised through this challenge will go straight to Women’s Aid and will help to fund things like:
• The 24/7 Freephone Helpline and Instant Messaging Support
• The Emergency Needs Fund, which provides urgent security measures such as changing locks or adding alarms when it’s needed most
• The Maternity Outreach Service, which supports women going through abuse during pregnancy and helps keep their babies safe
• In person services in Dublin, such as one-to-one support and court support
• Education and prevention campaigns like Too Into You, which helps young people understand the signs of unhealthy relationships
• Research and advocacy projects such as Femicide Watch and campaigns to improve laws and policies
• Volunteer and community programmes that keep the helpline running and ensure more women have someone to turn to
By walking these 100 miles, I want to do my part to raise awareness and funds so that no woman has to go through abuse alone. With the right support, she can reach safety sooner and start rebuilding her life.
I’d love for you to join me on this journey, whether that’s by sponsoring a mile, making a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply helping to spread the word.
Together, we can make a difference by helping women take their first steps towards a safer future.
