I'm running 100K in October

I’m taking part in the Run 100K in October Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

My 'Why?'

Saturday 4th Oct

This year, I promised myself I’d do something charitable, something that could actually help someone else. But for months, I hesitated. I was scared to put myself out there, to do something outside my comfort zone.

Then my incredible friend (and Teammate) mentioned the Run 100K in October challenge for Women’s Aid, and it just felt right. All my nerves disappeared because I had someone to do it with, and because the cause really hit home for me.

I’ve known women who’ve suffered abuse. I’ve seen how deeply it affects them, how it can strip away confidence, joy, and a sense of safety. Supporting Women’s Aid feels like a small but meaningful way to stand with those women and help create change.

As a woman, I believe we have to lift each other up. And if my love for running can bring even a little light or support to someone who needs it,  then I’m all in 💜
