Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

I’m taking part in the Cold Swim for Women this St Brigid's Day to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options above. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Standing Together: Why We’re Fundraising for Women’s Aid Ireland

Monday 19th Jan

This fundraiser is something deeply personal to me

Women’s Aid Ireland does work that saves lives ,quietly, consistently, and with compassion. It supports women and children affected by domestic abuse, offering safety, understanding, and the chance to rebuild. It’s an organisation that is close to our hearts, because it supported people like us.

This fundraiser isn’t just about raising money. It’s about awareness, solidarity, and hope. It’s about giving back to a service that helps women find safety when they need it most, whether that’s through their 24-hour helpline, advocacy, or education.

Domestic abuse doesn’t always look the way people expect. It can be emotional, psychological, financial, or physical. It can happen to anyone. And leaving isn’t simple it takes courage, support, and resources. That’s why Women’s Aid Ireland is so vital.

By donating or sharing this fundraiser, you’re helping ensure that:

  • A woman can reach someone when she makes that difficult call
  • A child can grow up in a safer environment
  • Survivors can access support without judgement

We’re sharing our story because we believe that kindness, when multiplied, creates real change. If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can’t, sharing this fundraiser is just as meaningful.
