McCann FitzGerald are proud to support Women's Aid by providing a free legal aid clinic. Accessing legal aid is often not an option for women experiencing domestic abuse, given the delays in the legal aid system and the fact that they usually have to make costly, recurring applications for legal aid. As a result, women experiencing domestic abuse often represent themselves in domestic abuse and family law proceedings. In 2023, we re-established our Women’s Aid clinic to provide a voluntary and confidential free legal information and assistance clinic to support women experiencing domestic abuse who are representing themselves in family law proceedings.
Please sponsor us and support our efforts to raise much needed funds for Women's Aid. Across Ireland one in four women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes someone reaches out to Women's Aid for information and support.
