I'm running 100K in October

I’m taking part in the Run 100K in October Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Day 1 – Starting the Challenge 🏃‍♀️💜

Thursday 2nd Oct

Today marks the start of my 100km in October for Women’s Aid challenge, and I couldn’t be more excited (and a little nervous too!). I’m starting slow, following a running plan, but I know that perseverance will get me there.

This morning, something amazing happened: I didn’t just run for 3 minutes — I pushed myself and ran for 4 minutes straight! That might not sound like much to some, but for me it’s a huge milestone, and I’m really proud of it. These small wins are exactly what will carry me through the month ahead.

I know there will be days when it feels tough, but I’m determined to keep going, because this challenge is about more than just running. Every kilometre is a step towards supporting Women’s Aid and helping those affected by domestic abuse. That’s what motivates me to lace up my runners, even when it feels hard.

I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me — and I’d love your support along the way. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Together, we can turn every step into something powerful.
