I’m walking 80K this February to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Awareness

Monday 12th Jan

This February, we’re taking part in the Walk 80K Challenge to raise much-needed funds for Women’s Aid, and this cause is one that truly matters to us. As midwives, we see the impact of domestic abuse far more often than people realise. We meet women at some of the most vulnerable and life-changing moments of their lives, and too often we witness the quiet signs of fear, control, and suffering. That’s why raising awareness is just as important as raising funds — because abuse doesn’t always leave visible scars.

Across Ireland, one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved and trusted. Every five minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support. These statistics are heartbreaking, but behind each number is a woman, a child, a family — and a chance for intervention, safety, and hope. Women’s Aid provides a lifeline, offering support, education, and advocacy when it’s needed most.

Your contribution, whether big or small, will make a real difference. By donating, sharing our page, or simply helping spread awareness, you are standing with women and children who deserve safety, dignity, and a future free from fear. Supporting Women’s Aid doesn’t just change lives — it saves lives. Thank you so much for your support; together, we can bring hope, healing, and the possibility of a brighter future. 💜
