Thank you for visiting my fundraising
I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.
Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.
Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

My Story
Saturday 30th AugFor almost a year, I found myself trapped in an abusive relationship. At just 21 years old, I never imagined I would experience the kind of pain and fear that I did. He was mentally, physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusive towards me, and I felt completely powerless.
But I was wrong.
Thanks to the love and support of my family and friends, I was finally able to break free. They stood by me, lifted me up when I couldn’t stand on my own, and ultimately saved my life. I will forever be grateful to them for helping me find the courage to leave.
I also want to thank Women’s Aid, who played such an important role in my journey. The guidance, resources, and reassurance they provided reminded me that I was not alone. This charity gave me hope when I felt hopeless, and I will always be thankful for their support.
Now, on the other side of my experience, I am happier than I’ve been in a long time. I feel lighter, freer, and stronger. Most importantly, I know there is always a way out, even when it feels impossible.
That’s why I’m taking on this challenge: to raise awareness and support for any woman who may be experiencing what I went through. If sharing my story helps even one person find the courage to reach out, to speak up, or to walk away, then it will have been worth it.
To any woman reading this you are not alone. There is always hope. And with the right support, there is always a way out.
