Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS

Tuesday 8th Sep
I was born in New York City and moved to the West of Ireland 50 years ago at the age of 26. It felt like I had stepped back 100 years in time, particularly as an isolated young woman beginning a family in a town of 200. I have witnessed dramatic change and great progress in this country since.

One of the outstanding organisations to emerge in tandem with my life here is Women’s Aid, the national, feminist organisation working to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse including coercive control in Ireland.

This year we share a landmark milestone. Women’s Aid have now supported generations of women and their children for 50 years.

Please help me celebrate and support the essential service Woman’s Aid provide by donating something, anything will be so welcome.
