This St Brigid’s Day Bank Holiday weekend, we’re proud to be taking part in the Cold Swim for Women once again, raising much-needed funds for Women’s Aid.
This is our second year getting involved in this incredible challenge. Last year, we were blown away by the turnout, the generosity of our community, and the conversations it sparked. Seeing so many people show up reinforced just how important this cause is, and why we were eager to support again this year in any way we can.
Across Ireland, one in three women experience domestic abuse from someone they once loved and trusted. Every five minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.
These are stark realities, and they highlight just how vital Women’s Aid’s work is, not just on this weekend, but every single day.
Your contribution, whether big or small, genuinely makes a difference. By donating, you’re helping Women’s Aid continue to provide life-saving supports, information, and refuge to women and children who need it most.
As an added thank you, we’ll also be choosing one lucky winner from everyone who donates through this page and from those who turn up to any of our Hot Box locations during the Cold Swim Challenge weekend to win a full year of saunas. It’s our small way of giving something back while helping raise vital funds for an important cause.
