I’m taking part in the Cold Swim for Women this St Brigid's Day to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Wednesday 21st Jan I am doing a swim with some amazing women for women’s aid this st. Brigid’s day, please donate if you can 💗💗💗 It is said that St. Brigid performed the first abortion, as she allegedly made a fetus disappear from a woman who broke her vow of chastity. It feels fitting to raise money for this cause on the day of St. Brigid in celebration of women's bodily autonomy, for all the women who paved the way, and the women who are no longer here because of domestic violence and having their autonomy taken from them.
