Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

I’m walking 80K this February to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Why I Support Women's Aid

Sunday 18th Jan
Women's Aid is a leading organisation in Ireland that works to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse including coercive control.

They work to improve the lives of women and girls by creating an Ireland where every woman and child can live free from violence.

As a researcher, I have worked on a number of projects in this domain. I have a particular interest in exploring, developing, and evaluating intervention programmes that prevent sexual and domestic/relationship/intimate partner violence. I have also conducted research exploring intervention programmes for children and young people impacted by domestic violence. Through this work I have connected with many Irish charities working in this area, along with staff and service users. This work has allowed me to gain deeper insights into the long term impacts and harm that violence can have on those who have experienced it, directly or indirectly. As a society, we can work together to end violence against women and girls, and to end domestic violence more broadly.

Raising money for Women's Aid is a privilege and I hope that any small donation you make will go towards supporting their work.
