I’m taking part in the Cold Swim for Women this St Brigid's Day to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

High tide high jinks

Monday 2nd Feb

Fab swim today, with my new hat on. High tide was so nice. Once I got over the initial cold. We are so lucky to have the sea so close and it even stopped raining. It is so nice to all ages of people in for a quick dip. Women everywhere silently but definitely standing g up and doing something for the next person. So it is ok to stand up to ask for help. Even if you have crawl. It is not your fault.
