Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone for Women’s Aid

This February, I’m doing something that’s going to challenge me both physically and mentally, all for a cause that truly matters.

I’m taking part in a **cold swim (or dip!)** and committing to an **80km walk over the month of February** to raise money for **Women’s Aid**.

 Why Women’s Aid?

For many women, leaving an abusive situation isn’t as simple as walking away. It takes courage, support, and access to the right resources. Women’s Aid helps make that possible.

 The Challenge

❄️ **Cold Swim/Dip**
Stepping into freezing water in February is not something I’d normally choose to do. It’s uncomfortable, it’s daunting, and it’s definitely outside my comfort zone — which is exactly the point. That brief moment of discomfort is nothing compared to the daily realities faced by those Women’s Aid supports.

🚶 **80km Walk in February**
Over the course of the month, I’ll be walking 80 kilometres. Some days will be easy, others will be tiring, wet, or cold but every step is a reminder of why I’m doing this and who I’m doing it for.
