I’m taking part in the Cold Swim for Women this St Brigid's Day to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid Ireland.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

I did it!
Sunday 1st Feb I got into the sea at Renville about 4.30 today, Feb 1st 2026. The sea temperature was 6.5° according to the blackboard by the sauna. My Mum Joan came with me to keep me company and to take photos for evidence, thanks Mum. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me. I hope Women’s Aid Ireland can continue to support people who need their services. Share
