Even though I am not well enough yet

Most people that know me know that I have been very ill recently. It has taken me 3 years to get where I am now, which is not well enough to have a normal life and work, but well enough to do some normal things. I can communicate with people now. I can cook in stages. I can walk as long as 5 minutes at a time. But all this has to be flexible.I need to stop the moment I feel symptoms coming or I'll be floored again. We don't know the cause; It could have been Covid, or it could have been an accumulation of stressful situations. Feeling threatened by somebody you love must be such an enormous emotional stress... It can bring you down and make your body very, very sick, like it happened to my cousin. In a way, I can relate to that. That's why I'm putting my heart and soul fundraising for this cause. ❤️ Although everything has to be done bit by bit... in stages! (But I am used to that by now!)

I still can't believe this. I've been so busy baking and posting, etc in social media that I forgot to update this blog.

Thanks to all the people who have supported me I have not only reached my goal but passed it! I'm heading now for another goal, which is fantastic. We will be able to help more women and children thanks to you, my very kind sponsors! 🙏🙏🙏💪💪

A 2nd very important reason

There is another very important reason why I am doing this fundraising. Domestic abuse has existed in my family in the past, as I suppose it has existed in many families, specially in the past. It was a common thing.

But a very young woman, a distant cousin of mine, has experienced domestic abuse and is very ill at the moment trying to recover. I'm doing this in her honour.
