I'm running 100K in October

I’m taking part in the Run 100K in October Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

So those of you who have seen me recently, you’ll notice I’ve put on about 3stone. This is likely perimenopausal, but even so it’s time to take my health seriously before I get even worse.
I’m needing to raise money for charity as an extrinsic motivator because my mojo is pretty low when it comes to getting myself sorted with regular decent exercise, and women’s aid is a perfect choice for my chosen charity - I’ve based my career on the imperative importance of a childhood raised with healthy relationships within a family home, true care, respect and love for one another to ensure families & children  are happy, thrive & care for one another.

The more corrosive relationships are not tolerated & domestic abuse is openly talked about, and support networks are well funded to be available for survivors, the more we as a society can see & reduce the destruction & corrosive impact of this silent epidemic on families, children & future generations.  Unhealthy relationships are so corrosive to the mind, body & soul.  My chosen charity is super close to my heart for many reasons. Thank you for reading.
