I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Why I'm Completing this Challenge

Monday 17th Aug
Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by my fundraiser page. I thought I'd share the reason why I have decided to take part in this challenge.

Last year, I underwent the toughest year of my life. I was bed bound, using a walking stick and in a miserable place mentally. After seeking out health care abroad I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, endometriosis as well as pundenal nuerlagia which caused extreme chronic pain.

I made the decision at the age of 26 to have a hysterectomy to combat the extreme pain I was in daily. I also had large amounts of endometriosis removed and had the pundenal nerve decompressed. It was life changing. I didn't think I'd be able to walk unassisted let alone get my lease of life back.

I saw this challenge and I felt it would be both a personal challenge as well as a challenge to raise funds. I'm just now starting to get my motivation back and so this challenge has come at the most opportune time for me.

My goal is to raise funds for women's aid who do so much for women in Ireland all while working towards my own personal goal.

If you can share and donate it would be greatly appreciated as I embark on this challenge.

Thank you to my Sponsors
