Across Ireland one in four women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted

If you know me, you know that women’s rights is very close to my heart and something I am very vocal about. 

Sometimes I talk until I’m blue in the face about the violence happening to women here and abroad. I thought it might be nice to start the year taking some action!

While I will never stop using my voice, I am also a keen sea swimmer. I thought this would be a lovely way to bring in the new year - doing something I love and taking action for something I am passionate about.

I know this is a terrible time to be asking people for money. So I am asking to please only donate what you can spare - even if it is just a euro. If all I raise is a tenner for Women’s Aid, it will be worth it!
