I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

100 miles for Women’s Voices❤️

Friday 4th Sep

Hi, my name is Isabel, and this September, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 100 miles to raise money for Women’s Aid, with a goal of raising €250.

I wanted to take part in this challenge because Women’s Aid is a cause that I feel really strongly about. Every woman deserves to feel safe in her own home, in her relationships and in the world around her. The work Women’s Aid does to support women and children experiencing domestic abuse is so important, and I’d love to do my little bit to support it.

I also feel that supporting women and protecting women’s voices is particularly important right now. We’re seeing more and more misogyny online through the manosphere, while in other parts of the world women are having basic rights and freedoms taken away. What is happening to women and girls in Afghanistan is heartbreaking, and it’s a reminder of how easily women’s voices can be pushed aside when their rights aren’t protected.

I don’t think any of us should ever take our freedom, safety or ability to speak up for granted. Supporting organisations like Women’s Aid is one small way we can stand alongside women who may not feel safe enough to speak for themselves.

So, for the month of September, I’ll be putting one foot in front of the other and hopefully clocking up 100 miles! It would mean so much to me if you could donate whatever you can towards my €250 goal. Even a few euro makes a difference, and if you can’t donate, sharing my fundraiser would mean just as much.

100 miles might seem like a lot, but it’s nothing compared to the importance of making sure women feel safe, supported and heard.

Thank you so much for supporting me and Women’s Aid. ❤️
