I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

100 Miles in September for Women's Aid
Wednesday 9th SepI'm doing 100 Miles in September for the Women's Aid this autumn. Women's Aid support women and children affected by domestic abuse, including emotional, physical, sexual, and economic abuse, as well as coercive control and stalking. Your donation would go towards helping keep their support services to women and children affected.
Your support will be giving women somewhere to turn. It will help affected women experiencing economic abuse or hardship to access the following supports:
The Emergency Fund provides vouchers for the immediate safety and well-being needs of abused women and children. This fund can be used for groceries, clothes, household appliances and additional support in a time of need.
The Security Fund provides funding for security enhancements to help women feel safe at home, including CCTV, monitored alarms, outdoor lighting and changed locks.
The Legal Fund provides for legal help, including consultations or payment toward legal representation in court.
This support is invaluable to women and their children experiencing domestic abuse, so on behalf of everyone at Women's Aid thank you so much in advance for your kind support.
