I’m taking part in the Cold Swim for Women this St Brigid's Day to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Monday 2nd Feb Converted now to the restorative power of cold, clear water as renewal. The shock of the cold as it becomes acute. All senses electric. The body as conduit. I am ao grateful to all my generous donors and my friends around me on the day. Grateful for Womensaid and the work they do to protect women. Like St Brigid's cloak they go so far to provide that safe place of dignity. We all.deserve that. Share
