Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

My Reasoning….

Monday 10th Aug

I’ve decided to sign up for the Women’s Aid 100 Miles challenge because I wanted to take on something that would push me physically, while also supporting a cause that is incredibly important.

Domestic violence and abuse affect so many women and families, yet it is something that can often happen behind closed doors. Women’s Aid provides vital support, information and a safe space for women experiencing domestic abuse. I wanted to do something that would help raise awareness of the work they do, while also encouraging others to support the cause.

The challenge of completing 100 miles is definitely going to push me outside of my comfort zone. I’m not someone who finds running easy, and knowing that I have 100 miles to complete makes it feel like a huge goal. But that’s also what makes it worthwhile. Every mile will be a reminder of why I started and of the women who rely on organisations like Women’s Aid for support.

For me, this isn’t just about completing 100 miles. It’s about using a personal challenge to contribute to something bigger. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can raise some money, spread awareness and encourage even a few more people to learn about Women’s Aid and the support they provide.
