I’m walking 80K this February to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid💗
Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.
Women’s Aid is an incredible organisation that supports women and children affected by domestic violence. They provide crisis support, education, vital resources, and advocate for the realities of domestic violence.
Throughout February, I’ll be walking 80km and sharing updates along the way. Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund life changing services.

Why I’m doing this fundraiser💜
Wednesday 28th JanI’m doing this fundraiser because, while completing my college thesis on the connection between women experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, I learned so much from Women’s Aid Ireland. Their website and resources were an amazing source of knowledge and helped me better understand the realities of domestic violence. This fundraiser is my way of helping to support their vital work and to say thank you 💜💜
During my time doing street outreach in college, I also heard the stories of many women who had experienced domestic violence and were now homeless. I’m walking for them too, for their strength, resilience, and courageous fight for safety. I hope they see the change they truly deserve.
