I'm running 100K in October

I’m taking part in the Run 100K in October Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Save a life

Tuesday 23rd Sep
For the last 2/3 years I've been doing the 100k walk to raise money for the charity Women's Aid. This charity is very close to my heart bcoz back in 2020 Women's Aid helped me to get away from my abusive partner. Myself and my 5yr old daughter where terrified of my then 9yr, live in, fiancee. It was a terrible way to live, walking on eggshells in hope he'll wake up in a good mood. In 2019 my Mother & sister where bringing myself & my 5yr old to Salou for our birthdays, we were both delighted with our gift. But my family didn't like Joe (my then boyfriend) from the beginning so obviously he wasn't coming to Salou with us, thank God. But he could not get it into his head why MY mother wasn't bringing him lol but whenever me & Amelia (my daughter) would talk about it he'd get very angry so we both knew that we could only talk about it when it was just the 2 of us. So not fair on my little girl. But we went & got back home where he did not want to hear ANYTHING about the holiday. Even though Amelia would still tell him stories about it. What 5yr old wouldn't? She was 5, she had her birthday over there & she had gone on a holiday before that one. We got brought to Puerto Rico but she was only 16 months old then. I felt so sorry for my baby. But when I finally seen the light & KNEW I just had to leave him Women's Aid helped me immensely. They pointed my daughter & I in the right direction for us to be put into a refuge. They helped me out with other things also. But the main thing was they showed me hope. So now this year I'm going to do a 100k run for the month of October. So please friends, family, whoever please donate whatever you can bcoz it really is for an amazing cause. Your money could save a life, a child's life. This is why I do this every year & I even donate whatever I can. There's no price on someone's life.
