I’m taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in September Challenge to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in three women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Day 30: Not Just For September!

So delighted to have stuck with this challenge. It felt important not to give up and to send positive strong energy to all the women out there who need this. You are not alone. This is more than for September it’s for every single day. You can do it! ❤️

Day 29: One Day More!

Tuesday 29th Sep
I can’t believe I’ve almost finished!! I’m at 98.9 miles!!!! I think I might go over the target a bit tomorrow and bring my favourite walking Buddy with me to celebrate ❤️

Day 28: Away with the Fairies

Tuesday 29th Sep
Took a wander in a Fairy Glen today and lost the time so no walk today. Don’t worry I’ll be back on track tomorrow . 🧚‍♂️

I’m dedicating my walk today to my lovely Dad who left us 10 years ago. He loved coming here and spending time on the river. ❤️

Gentle rain for my walk this morning. Water dripping off me but it was mild and quiet so not a bother. Feeling strong today. 💪
