Thank you for visiting my fundraising

I’m walking 80K in February to raise much needed funds for Women’s Aid.

Across Ireland one in four women live with suffocating abuse from someone they once loved; someone they once trusted. Every 5 minutes, someone reaches out to Women’s Aid for information and support.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, anything helps. I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. By supporting Women’s Aid you can change lives, and save lives.

Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.

Thanks so much for your support, it will bring hope, healing and the possibility of a brighter future for women and children.

Paying it forward

Tuesday 28th Jan
I was fortunate to receive assistance through Women's Aid some years ago during an incredibly difficult time in my life. When all other supports were low on the ground the service was a lifeline which kept me afloat.

During that period I was able to obtain the funds to install a security system and CCTV camera's which proved to be critical in not only helping me feel safer in my home but ultimately crucial in obtaining the evidence which helped give me back my freedom.

For a long time I was unable to leave my home and missed out on so much life but I found new interests and hobbies which sustained me. I took up gardening with a zeal and developed a passion for walking, albeit on a treadmill!

I'm grateful to finally be able to turn my adversity into opportunity and use my now finely honed leg muscles to help others who may need the same support.

Thank you
