Beginning

Friday 20th Feb This is my first blog post regarding to hosting a coffee morning for Women's Aid this International Women's Day. Due to the rise of far right politics in the world, Women's rights are increasingly at risk - as I write this, Reform UK are threatening to abolish the Equality Act of 2010 and the accessibility to safe abortions for more than 2 million women in the EU is currently up for debate. Now more than ever, I think it is pertinent to do my part in supporting women in ny local community, country and the whole world. Ireland itself had one of the highest rates of femicide in in Europe and yet one of the lowest percent of assault charges that result in conviction in court. So please, if you are investing in ensuring that what so many women have fought and died for in the past will remain steadfast into the future, donate or come along to my International Women's Day Coffee morning to raise funds for Women's Aid Share
